Uganda National NGO Forum (UNNGOF)

UNNGOF is a Ugandan non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a sharing and reflection platform for Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) so that they can influence governance and development processes in Uganda. It is an independent and inclusive national platform whose primary constituency and owners are NGOs in their diversity and configurations. UNNGOF is; however, open to other interest groups within a broadly defined civil society in Uganda.

Project title: Support to Organisational Strengthening and Participatory People Based Advocacy.

Brief description: The project intends to contribute to improving civil society health and citizen engagement by delivering two outcomes: Strong Internal UNNGOF Systems; and a clear baseline approach for citizen-based advocacy. These two interventions will contribute to strengthening UNNGOF internal systems and networks and lay a foundation for conducting participatory citizen-based advocacy with UNNGOF's regional partners.

Geographical coverage: National and Sub-national.   At sub-national the project will be implemented regions of Uganda that include: Buganda, Bunyoro, Acholi, Lango, Kigezi, Ankole, Tooro, Sebei, Teso, Karamoja, Busoga, Bugisu, Bukedi and West Nile.
