Uganda Law Society (ULS)

The ULS is an association of lawyers established under the Uganda Law Society Act. It is charged with ensuring high levels of professionalism among lawyers in Uganda.
Project title: Enhancing Access to Justice for the Indigent, Vulnerable and Marginalised Persons and Respect for Human Rights in Uganda
Brief description: The project will improve access to justice and human rights through provision of comprehensive legal aid, Pro Bono services, as well as rule of law in Uganda. ULS provides comprehensive legal aid and Pro Bono services through its regional offices/ clinics with a comprehensive range of services to indigent, marginalized and vulnerable persons.
Geographical coverage: Kampala, Mpigi, Wakiso, Mukono, Luweero, Mityana, Mubende, Jinja, Kaliro, Bugiri, Namutumba, Namayingo, Buyende, Luuka, Kayunga, Iganga, Kabale, Kisoro, Mbarara, Kiruhura, Ntungamo, Rukungiri, Kabarole, Kyegegwa, Kyenjojo, Isingiro, Bundibugyo, Kasese, Arua, Yumbe, Terego, Maracha, Abim, Napak, Moroto, Pakwach, Nebbi, Apac, Gulu, Kitgum, Agago, Pader, Amuru, Nwoya, Masindi, Buliisa, Kiryandongo, Soroti, Mbale, Kaberamaido and Bukedea districts.
