Uganda Joint Christian Council (UJCC)

Uganda Joint Christian Council (UJCC) is a faith based ecumenical organization that was established in 1963 and registered as a trustee under the Trustees Incorporation Act. Its membership comprises the Church of Uganda, the Roman Catholic Church and the Uganda Orthodox Church.

Project title: Scaling up Gender Responsive Budgeting in Local Government Structures

Project description: The project will build capacity of selected leaders in the districts of Lira and Amolatar in Northern Uganda to plan and implement programmes using Gender and Equity budget frameworks in line with the Public Finance Management Act, 2015; and to ensure that government laws, policies and regulations are effectively implemented during the budgeting and service delivery processes.

Geographical coverage: Lira and Amolatar districts.
