Transparency International Uganda (TIU)

Transparency International Uganda (TIU) is a national chapter of Transparency International – the global coalition against corruption. TIU is a registered NGO with the Uganda NGO Bureau contributing towards a corruption free Uganda where the citizens actively condemn corruption and demand for accountability while leaders and public officials uphold the principles of good governance.

Project title: Strengthening Citizens’ Engagement in Government Accountability and Natural Resource Governance 

Project description: The project seeks to empower citizens to make their leaders accountable in effective management of public and natural resources in order to ensure improved service delivery and natural resource governance.

Geographical coverage: Rakai, Lwengo, Kyotera, Lyantonde, Masaka, Sembabule, Buliisa, Iganga, Kampala, Nakapiripirit, Busia, Hoima, Buliisa, Gomba and Kakumiro districts.
