Teso Anti-Corruption Coalition (TAC)

TAC is a coalition of over 49 regional based organizations in the Teso region in Eastern Uganda working to campaign against poor governance by tackling issues of corruption and poor accountability in Uganda. Since 2001, TAC has successfully mobilized and sensitized communities to play an active in fighting corruption. This they do by building the capacity of grassroots accountability structures at selected Village, Parish, and Sub County levels as well as through the use of membership lead agency models who champion the fight against corruption in Teso.

Project title:  Facilitating Accountability through Citizen Engagement

Brief description: The FACE project seeks to achieve improved citizen engagement on government accountability, improve CSO engagement in accountability and anti- corruption and improved government responsiveness to accountability issues.

Geographical coverage: Soroti, Kaberamaido, Katakwi, Abim, Kumi, Serere, Ngora, Amuria, and Pallisa districts.
