Rwenzori Forum for Peace and Justice (RFPJ)

RFPJ was established in 20021 as a platform to harmonies and align the work of civil society organisations involved in peacebuilding, violence prevention and human rights promotion work in Rwenzori region, Western Uganda.

Project title:  Fostering inter-ethnic Dialogue and Reconciliation in the Rwenzori Region

Brief description: The project addresses ethnic violence and fosters ethnic reconcilitaion as an aspect of transitional justice in the Rwenzori region. It also promotes the respect for social and cultural rights, and enhances the participation and representation of youth and women in peace buiding and reconciliation.

Geographical coverage: Kabarole, Kasese, Bundibugyo, and Ntoroko districts
