Project title: Supporting efforts to combart torture and ill-treatment of suspects and prisoners in Uganda

Brief description: The project will work with state and non-state actors to address torture in Uganda through; piloting use of investigative interviews, implementing safeguards to prevent and detect torture in prisons, and strengthening independent oversight of detention facilities.

Geographical coverage: Gulu, Kampala, Wakiso, Lira, Arua, Jinja, and Mbale districts.
