Center for Governance and Economic Development (CEGED)

The Center for Governance and Economic Development (CEGED) is a not-for-profit organization that started in December 2009 as Community Based Organization by founders having a decade of active community development work in West Nile region, Northern Uganda. In April 2011, CEGED was registered as a company limited by guarantee and incorporated by the Registrar of Companies in Uganda.

Project title: Strengthening Private Sector in Governance and Accountability (SPRING).

Project description: The project seeks to strengthen a constructive engagement between the private sector groups and association leaders and local government leaders for transparency and accountability in the in service delivery.

Geographical coverage: Arua, Koboko, Nebbi and Zombo districts.
