Alliance for Finance Monitoring (ACFIM)

ACFIM is a loose coalition of civil society activists advocating for increased transparency in the practice of financing political parties and election campaigns in Uganda. It was formed to address corruption in campaign financing by scrutinizing among others the extent to which money influences election campaigns and outcomes.  ACFIM is co-hosted by Transparency International Uganda and Anti-Corruption Coalition of Uganda

Project title:  Efforts to curb Commercial Electoral Processes in Uganda

Brief description: The projects focuses on adressing commercialisation of politics and elections and advocating for campaign financing reforms in Uganda

Geographical coverage: National and sub national levels. At sub national level the project  works in 5 districts namely: Kabale, Hoima, Kyotera, Sembabule, and Kamuli districts.
