The Advocates Coalition for Development and Environment (ACODE) is an independent public policy research and advocacy Think Tank based in Uganda, working in the East and Southern Africa sub-regions on a wide range of public policy issues.
Project title: Oil Governance and Environmental Sustainability in Uganda (OGESU).
Project description: The OGESU project is a Civil Society Coalition on Oil Project (CSCO) that seeks to promote transparency, accountability, participation and environmental sustainability in the governance of Uganda's petroleum resources in order to improve the welfare of Ugandans.
Geographical coverage: Nwoya, Hoima, Kikuube, Buliisa, Kakumiro, Kyankwanzi, Mubende, Gomba Sembabule, Lwengo, Kyotera, Rakai, Mityana, Kiboga, Kampala and Wakiso districts.
